Ward 1 Update – Councilmember Elliott Payne will provide details to his work in the neighborhood and within City Council.

Renter’s Rights Review – Michael Dahl, Public Policy Director at HOME Line tenant advocates, will lead a discussion on changes to Minnesota’s renter laws in 2024 and beyond.

Central Avenue F Line – Metro Transit’s Outreach Coordinator, Nasser Mussa, will join us for an update on the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) F Line coming to Central Avenue corridor.

Check It Out!
WPCIA has invested in audio/visual equipment to allow residents and guest speakers to attend the meeting from their homes and/or offices. Guest speakers will have the option to present virtually, shown on a projection screen in the meeting room. Likewise, residents attending virtually will be displayed on a sperate screen, while able to view the in-person audience and presenters. One way or the other, hope to see you at the next one!

Purpose
Windom Park Citizens in Action (WPCiA) is a 501c3 non-profit that serves as the voice of Windom Park neighborhood in Northeast Minneapolis. It is the city-designated citizen participation organization for this geographic area of Minneapolis, as well as the neighborhood's contracting organization for the city's Neighborhood Revitalization Program (NRP).
